Sydney installation specialist

Blind and curtain installation, done properly.

Harbourlight measures, supplies and installs made-to-measure blinds, curtains and tracks across central Sydney—with the installation planned as carefully as the product itself.

The final result depends on what happens at the window.

Product selection matters, but accurate measurement, suitable fixings, alignment, clearance and commissioning determine whether a blind or curtain operates as intended. Harbourlight keeps responsibility for product specification and installation within one accountable process.

A controlled installation process

Measure. Specify. Install. Test.

Every opening, product and mounting surface is different. The process is designed to identify constraints before manufacture or installation—not after the installer arrives.

01

Assess

Confirm the product, opening, access, mounting surface and likely clearances.

02

Measure

Record dimensions and installation details appropriate to the selected system.

03

Install

Position, level, secure and commission the complete window-furnishing system.

04

Handover

Test operation, explain care requirements and record any product limitations.

Details that prevent callbacks

Installation planned around the whole opening.

Harbourlight considers more than width and drop. Fixing depth, obstructions, handle clearance, stacking space, electrical boundaries and product condition all affect the finished result.

Reveal, face-fit and ceiling-mount assessment
Suitable brackets, fixings and mounting points
Clearance from handles, doors and architraves
Level, alignment and consistent finished heights
Track joins, carriers, returns and curtain stacking
Battery-system commissioning and operational testing

Documented warnings for unsuitable supplied products

Focused around central Sydney.

Core service areas include the Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore, North Shore and accessible parts of the Northern Beaches, generally within about 25 kilometres of the Sydney CBD. Other areas may be considered depending on scope, scheduling, parking and travel.

Straight answers

Before installation begins.

Do you supply and install made-to-measure products?

Yes. Harbourlight can measure, specify, supply and install blinds, curtains and tracks as a complete service.

Can you install products purchased elsewhere?

Yes, subject to product condition, completeness, dimensions, suitability and safe access. Customer-supplied products remain the customer’s responsibility; Harbourlight is responsible for its installation workmanship.

Do you undertake hard-wired electrical work?

No unlicensed electrical work is undertaken. Harbourlight can install and commission suitable battery-operated systems and coordinate a licensed electrician where a hard-wired system requires electrical work.

Is the initial measure and quotation free?

For suitable supply-and-install work within the core service area, an initial measure and quotation can generally be provided without charge. Distant, complex or non-standard assessments may require a quoted attendance fee.

What happens if the site or product is not ready?

Return attendance caused by missing components, unsuitable products, incorrect measurements or site-readiness issues may attract a further minimum attendance charge. Any material issue is discussed before work proceeds.
